Don't know where I can put up this topic.

But did anyone suffered from eczema/ any skin condition?

Last year September, I stopped using a product called "CDL" Clair De Lune Day & Night Cream.
This product was reported with undeclared ingredients. mad.gif

When I stopped using that product, next few days my jawline and cheek started to popout pimples, undefined red dots,
and itching aswell. vmad.gif

Then I went to consult Dr.Ting Skin Care Specialist @ Jln Imbi (which was very famous)
He prescribed a cream, I cannot see the ingredient because they put cream into a small cup for me but in the
card its stated "Efficient Ointment". rclxub.gif

MAGIC HAPPENED.. only 1 day, my face are back to completely normal, then I continue with this cream about 6 months later.
My face started to become very sensitive, redness, skin pale, very itching, tight, hot and burning.
Some more got skin flakes, and many pimples & small pots all over my face. icon_question.gif

While my face is getting worst, I go online look for people who have similar symptomps.
Then most people said that it is Hormonal-Dependent Facial Dermatitis, is a face disease.
My face too relying on product and my skin layer were already damaged. cry.gif

So i go consult Dr.Ting again, he said that my face is some kind of eczema and allergy.
I doubt that, and I told him my past story, he still insist that I am eczema and skin allergy.
He gave me another cream for soothing. ohmy.gif

Then the first night I apply that cream, my face just like before, one day MAGIC AGAIN!
I used for 2 weeks, then I stopped again cause my skin is completely normal, but the next day
my face BOOM, all allergic symptomps come back slowly.
Now I got itching, redness and rashes on my face.
Then I consulted Dr.Ting the 3rd times, he still insist that I got eczema/allergy, and ask me to continue that cream.
And he told me eczema some people need cure for years... due to inner body immune and hormone.
He just ask me to continue back that old cream.
I wish to ask more questions, but he seems like don't really bother. (If you consulted him before, you will know what I'm saying) bangwall.gif

My concern is I worry that cream can give me MAGIC in one day, I think there will be some kind of ingredient (topical corticosteroids)
inside makes your skin heals super fast but will rely on that product, if stop using will getting worst. sad.gif

Urghhh... anyone facing the same problem? How you guys solved it? confused.gif

I think it's illegal to sell corticosteroids to public without their knowledge. Ask the Dr if that magic cream contains steroids.

If you're still unsatisfied, this is the place to report their dodgy magic cream: https://www.npra.gov.my/index.php/en/consum...ic-enquiry.html

Sorry to hear your predicament. As a long term sufferer of eczema I can understand how it feels.

First of all, skin (or any other body parts) is not likely to heal overnight. So i'm assuming that cream is a steroid, which does help skin heals overnight. Patients who use steroid sees the effectiveness and would think that the doctor is good, but THAT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. Also, the fix that doctors normally give for inflammation is most of the time steroid, and would RARELY advise you the root cause of the situation. They will say it's eczema and there is no cure for that forever, only can control. But that is what they learn in their courses anyway.

Steroid is for a short term fix, ie use for just a few days. Definitely not for long term ie weeks or months. It will cause some side effects to the skin and eventually lead to over dependency to the steroid cream. Either it becomes not effective and you'll need a stronger cream, or you'll have a withdrawal symptom from stopping the steroid.

Why the eczema keeps coming back is because something keeps triggering it. It's your body of a warning sign. Take note of anything new that you ate or come in contact when the eczema started.

What I suggest to cure eczema is really cliche. Live a healthy lifestyle, and fastest you'll see results is a month or two, really.

Search up leaky gut syndrome which is a common cause of sudden eczema, (ie you never had that before when you were younger).

To summarize, if you can control, go for a vegan diet. If you cant, avoid peanuts, milk, eggs, soy, gluten, which are common causes of leaky gut. Avoid also processed food and sugary diet. Take probiotic rich food or pills that contain various lactobacillus strands. Reduce stress and sleep well. Take vitamin B and zinc. Eat more vege and fruits for every meal.

Of course, don't take my word for it. You can go for at least a skin specialist, ask them to do a blood test on what you are allergic on. But they'll give you steroid creams anyway for short term fix.

Good luck

i got seborrheic dermatitis after I came back from Italy. I don't know how and why I get it. My face was normal before that. only problem with acne. Now I am using Cosmoderm (yellow one) to reduce the dryness. If I skip for 2 days, it will start peeling again. Just after I started using the mask (also yellow), it gets better but I still need to use it at least once a week.
