I'm a owner of Proton persona sv. My job requires me to drive for long hours. The original seats are uncomfortable and I want to know is it possible to replace it with other seats? For example proton iriz seat.

theoritically if they share the same railing you can do a swap but i think iriz seat may look small on ur persona sv. If not you have to customize the railing for the seat to fit

Alternatively, you can send the original seat to get new plush padded leather seats. It will last longer, and probably be a lot comfier. If it's just 1 seat, it should be reasonably priced as well.

Actually my main concern is the back. I have back ache issue and the current seat back support is not good enough. I tried my friend's Iriz and feel that the seat is so much more better.
But instead of changing a car just for the seat, I was thinking can I change to a seat with better back support instead.

You can also buy back support instead of changing the seats

One option is that you can try to swap with those conti's seats (they will give good back support), subaru seats are comfortable or recaro SR3 lemans (some say uncomfortable but i guess good back support)

As long as they are C-Segment seats, they should fit perfectly fine.

Besides the seats, you just have to incur some charges for custom railings if the current railings are not Persona fittings.

Recaso Sr3 are very popular. I think persona and wira railings are the same. if they are, it is plug and play. no extra charges.

Try to sit in these seats first before buying.

U can change to any seats, just need to custom the seat rail. 3 years back I swap in satria neo seats to my wira.

Make sure u study which seat is the best for you and your car, and get trusted shop to modify the rail. Change seats can really change the car ergonomic...better or worse

i understand u bro.. i drove persona for long distance as well. The seat is a bit too firm but not enough support. Over the distance u get backache. I would need some cushion support which i bought to put behind my back if i m driving far

Is it possible to change the new persona rear seat with iriz seat? The persona rear seat headrest is lousy...
