When I opened account at ASB branch, I had to wait 2 hours for the staff to buy for me RM100 worth of units for each fund. So, I don't think they can buy in RM10 blocks.

They can, min cash buy-in size changed since circa end of last year (if I recall correctly).

My friend opened ASM1, ASM2, ASM3 one shot first week of May this year RM10 each at PNB HQ @ Jalan Tun Razak.

Yeah, I think that should be No Ahli.
Also require "Rujukan Penerima". Any idea what's that?
Edit: It might be the kod rujukan when you login myasnb? I think it is better to wait official tutorial or document, or ask anyone works for pnb first before experiment it yourself.

Msia boleh, when it comes to creating ambiguities. No Ahli is No Ahli. ID Pemegang Unit is ID Pemegang Unit. How wise it it to let users guess No Ahli is ID Pemegang Unit?
I think the Rujukan Penerima is for you to fill in "to my wife, with love" when you have done something wrong and wish to make up by transferring fund to her.

It was a compulsory field, I think what you explain might be rujukan (lain-lain). But who knows, I will wait until there is an official explanation on how to use before making any transfer.

Getting units might just be more difficult than it is now, as most of us would prefer to sell it to someone we know rather than cashing it out.

unless people you know are somewhat rich and like to invest in safe funds, they won't be buying anything from you. none of the few rich people I know are even interested.

Somewhat true, but as long as there are some people who do that, it will mean fewer units in the market, no?

Won't be surprised if people will start trading their units here in the future...
