Work hard everyone.

I am pretty sure there are people selling both yesterday and today. Liquidity is still there.

Good luck!

Aunty have been so busy and missing all the action. Thought after 5% can easily buy ASM3 especially since its after dividend, but habuk also don't have after trying an hour today
*
One hour is not enough these days. smile.gif

From my past experience, you need to sustain for several hours, higher chance would be from 11-2 p.m. (lunch hours) and around 3:30-4p.m. (half an hour to an hour before bank close).

There will be some units available immediately after banks, open around 9-10 a.m. Some members also reported grabbing huge units in the order of several 10ks around 7 a.m. when the online trading session begins. Hope these help.

I think close to 4PM there were some units available for ASM3. I was using the mobile app just casually checking on availability, surprised when I got it in the first attempt (RM500). After settle payment, tried another RM300, and got it again in the first click. Now my ASM3 has rounded up nicely.
*
Yup. I can confirm Maru's case. I have successfully bought units many times within the 3:30-4:00 p.m. window. High chance of successful purchase. My speculation is that probably banks (or other institutions) reserve a certain ASNB quota for the day for their own interest and release them at the end of the day to the pool of ordinary customers when the quota is not used up.

Just a guess though. No idea what's going on behind.

ASN mobile app ?

I use the online myASNB portal on my PC. Haven;t tried using the mobile app yet. I heard there is a 3-time-limit for purchase and you are automatically logged out. Would rather use the web version instead.

But I guess when there are units available, they should both appear on the online myASNB portal and the mobile version app.

So, 10 times only and each time without the need to spam captcha?

Thanks for the info. So, 10 times per fund and I can't continue with the same fund after 10 times? Need to log out then login again?

Will, someone can still do scripting to automate the process.

10 times per fund every 5 minute. So, 30 times every 5 minute. Then repeat the same process for the whole day as long as market is open.

So, hands-off the PC and mobile app and the computer will buy units for you.

On the other hand, I am thinking of some possible loopholes/bugs. What if:

1. I log out after trying for 30 times before 5 minutes for all 3 funds, then login again, before 5 minutes since my last attempt.

2. I log out after trying for 10 times in less than 5 minutes for a single fund, then login again, before 5 minutes since my last attempt.

Has anyone tried these?

I can start to see a black market forming. The demand for ASx funds is too high but the quota is too low.

I am seeing economics at work now.

I have access to Bloomberg Terminal today, and here are some "insider" info about the 3 FP funds.

Hope you guys find them interesting.

Industry breakdown (value a bit different from breakdown by sector's data earlier due to different date consideration during compilation of data)

(NOTE: I find the data slightly outdated and mixed, as can be inferred from the different position change filings (and the different date) as recorded by Bloomberg. So, rely on official source for now.)

Market value change over time. Data doesn't look quite right to me.

For one thing, the filings aren't complete. AS1M can't only have 7 holdings in its portfolio...

One peculiarity about this AS1M fund is that there are no contact information available.

Came across ASB while looking up on the 3 previous funds. The data for ASB is more updated and reliable.

That's all from me. Hope you guys find all these useful. (Annual report is still the best source for ultimate reference, in my opinion.)
