Anyone plan to sell their ASNB fixed fund, please let me know. whatsapp 0104627467. willing to pay for the transaction fee RM15, and give a sweet (RM50 for RM10k above)

No need so desperate. Get your cash ready. 3x a year when they credit the dividend, that time pump in your cash.

actually i dont really understand ASNB

hmm is it better than mutual fund? what makes ASNB special?
im quite dumb in this ...

Buy and sell at RM1/unit. Other unit trust/mutual fund price follow market. More or less guaranteed dividend of 5.5%, with instant withdrawal, no penalty for early withdrawal, apa lagi you may?

5.5% p.a. more or less guaranteed returns. Use to be min 6%p.a. Dump it in regularly don't touch it, compounding will take care of the rest. It works exactly like FD but better.

what he mean is, Income Distribution aka Dividend at around 5.5% every year.

For most mutual funds, you have to pay commission when you trade. This one has a fixed price of $1. As long as you leave a minimum balance of $1, you still get pro-rated dividends after you sell.

Is not fixed. Based on market returns. But unofficially fixed based on previous years record. People said it won't drop below 6% but it did drop below 6% although before dropping it was hovering at 6% for a while.

Just expect that your return for the time being is fixed to 5.5%p.a unless they decided to lower it.

Dividend dates are fixed:
ASM1 - 1 Apr
ASM2 Wawasan - 1 Sep
ASM3 - 1 Oct

The dividend % usually announce within 1-2 weeks of payout dates.

First thread FAQ section conclude which fund you may invest.

You may start investing by open account at PNB or any bank agent with minimum 10 units initial investment.

Last few days to top up ASM .
It's getting more competition. So far 1k so good.
ASM3 is the worst. Less established. More risky.

Go for ASM & ASM 2 only.

And for those days where dividend announcements are nowhere near? What’s your take then? Also 50-50?

I don't work in ASNB, so i would not know. 50-50 is just an assumption there might be or not be available fund quota available. And if there's sudden big fund quota available, i am sure simply anyone will announce it here in this thread. So check up this thread daily if you desperate to know possible quota available or can just simply off spamming captcha anytime daily as you see fit. biggrin.gif
