Yesterday, I use the Live Chat service from Digi to request a change of my monthly postpaid plan.

The agent name Dhia explain the plans to me and told me that I will be enjoying 10GB All Day Internet, 10GB Weekend and 10GB Youtube. After confirming the plan, I proceeded to ask her to upgrade the said plan.

Soon after the upgrade, I then check my plan on the MyDigi app and found out it was not what she initially had told me. The plan I receive instead was only 5GB All Day Internet, 5GB Weekend and 10GB Youtube. I then give Digi a call and clarify the plans and they had admitted that they had given me the wrong information earlier and won't be able to fulfill the plan they initially promised.

To compensate, they now only offer to give me additional 5GB monthly bonus, still did not fullfill what they promised earlier.

Can I file a complaint with MCMC and do you think they will entertain such case? Much appreciate for any advice.
