The thing is I went directly to a DiGi Centre. Not the express ones inside malls. I've did direct port in to prepaid before many years back a few times with other numbers.

I know my stuff and already asked to be directly ported to Prepaid directly but told it was not allowed. If this is a LIE, I hope you better take disciplinary action against your staffs, DiGi or you're actually giving them orders to push for Postpaid sales as priority.

Don't want to waste my previous time pursuing the, since I'm already now ported to their prepaid just 2 months ago. I've better things to do. If really the DiGi staff was lying to me, they won't be seeing this customer ever again when I port out in future.

I don't want to go through all the trouble and time again in future to port from other telco->DiGi Postpaid-> DiGi Prepaid anymore.

Since they only pick VIP members selectively and make potential customers go through all sorts of trouble, I would find a more welcoming telco that doesn't discriminate and treat everyone more fairly with their offers.

CUrrently on Digi 80, just saw online port in discount 12 per months for 12 months. so 144.
Worth to port out to other telco 1 month then port back online just to enjoy the discount 12 per month ?

Network performance is fine no complaints. Only thing not happy is their preferential treatment by selection.

Went through all the trouble to port from other telco->Postpaid->Prepaid only to be treated like other has been saying a "SLAP" on the face. You saw the kind of BOS offers I'm getting which is a total turn off.

Me too. I've ported 3 prepaid UniFi numbers, 1 XPax, 2 postpaid Maxis, 4 Yoodo to DiGI Live. Over the last 18 months.

Mine is worst. 2 weeks ago, I got Free RM5 Credit. That's good. Then last week, it appeared again but error when I try to claim it. After which it will go away. Next day it'll appear again in BoS. So every day I will try to claim it and be disappointed. Day after day. sad.gif

Last September can. I mnp from Maxis OnePlan (postpaid) to DiGi Live (prepaid).

Now they quietly went and change the terms again. Headed to to their site and read up their NEXT Prepaid Plan T&C.They now explicitly state that direct port in to their NEXT Prepaid plan is allowed.

There was nothing mentioned previously about MNP from other telcos directly to their Live Prepaid plan previously under their Q&A section.

This telco is not being honest at all to their customers. Did they just eat back on their words?

EDIT: The Prepaid Live plan also has been delisted from their site. You can only find the NEXT Plan now under their Prepaid section?

as mentioned by many users here, MNP to digi prepaid is allowed. it is just unlucky that u met such staffs when u got there. also no point keep biting on it since u have decided not to take further action on digi and the particular centre.

nobody is eating back their words - many has mentioned successfully port in directly into digi prepaid for years. what u should look for instead is any T&C that mention not allowed to port in directly into digi prepaid.

Doesn't matter. To keep things quick and simple at DiGi Centre, I just keep quiet and let them port me into whatever prepaid plan they want. I guess default is Live cause all my numbers end up in Live. Sometimes they'll ask if I want Best or Live. Whatever, later can change.

Next already appear in USSD call plans. Along with the incumbents, Monthly 28 and Live.

I'm speaking the TRUTH.

Look at their Prepaid section and compare it with their Postpaid page.

There is no option to "Switch to DiGi" for the Prepaid Page

But on the Postpaid section there such button is but the lowest tier plan is Postpaid 58. There is no Postpaid 38 plan listed there.

Maybe new policy? Let me go test water. Planning to go DiGi Centre this week. Got one Yoodo and 5 Tunetalks I need to port to DiGi.

not allowing porting in to prepaid via online is not the same as not allowing porting in to prepaid at all. that being said, i'm not sure if this is some new rules - but ur case if a few months back. also since u kept crying foul, we suggested that u take action against these rogue staffs/centre but u chose not to. then what outcome do u expect from this thread? this thread doesn't have any official digi staffs.

Don't put all eggs in one basket @ Digi.
Have backup in different telco if there's problems with 1 telco...
