Any screenshot? Never got one of those hmm.gif

Sorry, lowyat says I cannot upload file with that extension (I took it with my screen recorder). Most likely I'm not doing it properly. Noticed that I got this offer for my best prepaid but its not available in my live prepaid digi. The offer is the next one after the digi 38 new offer.

Try taking a screenshot by knocking the screen twice with your knuckle.

Why would I do that?  Yours is an Android phone right?  Or try pressing Power and Volume Down simultaneously.

Well, why 'with knuckles' and not fingers. That's why I thought you were pulling my leg. Anyway, that didn't work. But the pressing power and volume down button worked.

Ohh..I'm beginning to think that the $10 free is related to the digi postpaid 38. I didn't bother to read the digi postpaid 38 as have no interest. But now, I suspect that this is all linked together. If so, have no interest.

Now I see the knuckles gesture is probably Huawei-specific.

That's interesting with regards to Huawei. Never knew Huawei's method is so unique biggrin.gif

Currently have digi new best v1. Previously when I extended this for 1 year, I went to a digi shop and paid around $30-$50 (can't remember how much $).

1) Was wondering if I were to extend it for another year, can I do it through apps and I would lose $38 immediately or will the $38 still be available for me to use in other forms?

2) If I were to lose the $38, prefer to change plan to digi prepaid live p2p and just pay $1 every 60-90 days to keep my number alive (as I seldom use this number anymore). I don't have to pay any extra charges for digi prepaid live p2p (as long as I don't make any calls, sms or internet right?)

To extend the validity for Digi New Best v1, the Super Long Life option for 1-year costs RM38. You can either use your existing credit balance to extend, or do a top-up first if your account doesn't have enough to cover the cost.

1) Yes, you can do it through the MyDigi app, and you'll "lost" it as it's a cost (chargeable option).

2) For your information, you can also reactivate your line with just RM1 within the 75-day grace period for Digi Best Prepaid. Digi Prepaid Live has 90-day grace period, by the way, but IIRC it's a restriction on the use of credit transfer to/from another Digi account, among other differences.

Thanks. If that's the case, I will just 'renew/extend' it every 75 days by paying $1 for my digi new best v1. I don't use this number anymore except for some banks TAC sms. Understand that even when my plan is expired (as long as I pay $1 every 75 days), I can still receive sms, right?

My current Digi is prepaid and going to expire soon. Still have some $ left but Digi is refusing to let me port out. Received the sms to port out and when I replied Y, they sent back sms saying my request is not successful and to contact telco to clarify. On contacting them, they say they can't see that I have sent any sms and asked me to wait until 6.13pm to contact them again to see whether successful in porting out (despite me saying that Digi has already sent sms that my request is rejected). Customer service/hotline says that the only way to port out is by replying to sms (cannot call telco and cannot go to digi centre to port out) but how do you port out if Digi keeps giving you excuse that they never receive sms?

i see..what is the maximum saving if topup use presto?
*
Sorry. I just buy presto giftcard but have not utilized it. Not sure whether there's any savings on digi by using the giftcard. I think its more of getting the gift card cheaper (eg: $50 giftcard may be sold below $50--so some saving there).

I am on best prepaid expiring soon. Did not take any plans, do not use internet, have not make any calls and sms on this sim card for some time already and do not owe anything. Even have some $ left which I am willing to forfeit etc.

Oh my... I don't know should I laugh or get angry when this would happen to me.
Digi don't want you to port out la...  icon_idea.gif
Prepaid subscribers dropping, eh?
So they give out memo to those customer service agents to make those existing customer's life harder when they try to port out?
I dunno ah... I'm just saying  whistling.gif

Digi playing dirty. When they send me sms to port out, I replied and they very soon say that my request was rejected. Have called customer service several times and filed several complaints. They gave me nonsense excuse, say they cannot see my reply etc--still pending--asking me to call in the evening (even though I kept telling them Digi has already sent sms rejecting my request) They even had somebody call me asking me for reason to port out and I told them not to play dirty etc and I wanted to port out. Not pleased with Digi. Then later in the evening, received another sms says request rejected because I did not reply to sms. Really nonsensical as I replied pretty soon and they can pretty soon after my reply say that my request is rejected (even though deadline for me to reply is a few hours later). Even had a 'received' shown on my sms--signifying they did receive sms.

Last time I port out one of my Digi line also, they kept playing dirty and say that they did not receive my sms. But this time they are even dirtier--can even tell me that the only way for me to port out is to reply sms. No other way, call in cannot, go to centre also cannot. So how to port out if they keep giving excuse never receive sms. ranting.gif

I have another prepaid line with Digi still. Just waiting for the $ to be depleted (will use it for rewards) and after that, I will not renew it and will not port out.

I notice something. It seems that some telco's dirty games on not letting us port out is never receive sms. Last time, I did for my mom's umobile and they also keep saying never receive sms and later on a few other nonsensical excuses. Even ask me to call Celcom on why they never receive sms but then cannot give me the phone #. Go and ask me to google. That time I was really a saint and my agent kept sending the request everytime I was rejected. Took many days and even many more tries (several tries each day over several days) until finally I had enough. Fought with them tooth and nail and ultimately got ported out. That's why I will never ever take up umobile. I don't care what plan they have.

I really wish these telcos would be penalized heavily for these dirty tactics. Instead of trying to improve their service, product and lower their charging price, they play dirty by not allowing customers to port out.

Currently the best for topup is SEAGM.COM. Pay with Grab, 20% rebate, max RM10.

So topup RM50, pay 50.66, rebate in Grab RM10.

Little tip for duping seagm. It’s based on IP address. So make sure you get a different IP when creating your 2nd or above account. If same the newly created account gets suspended immediately.

Also got plenty of other stuff to buy there.
