Buy Digi Roam Pass, mostly (subject to the location) RM25 for 72 hours including 30 minutes call and 2GB Internet.

What phone are you using? Is that phone volte and vowifi enabled? If yes, you can receive and make calls and sms to Malaysia at local rates when you are overseas. Just make sure your phone is connected to wifi abroad and the symbol vowifi appeared on top of your screen. To be safe, disable lte and roaming since lte uses tiny amount of data even though your mobile data is off and that data counts as roaming data

volte is voice/call using 4g lte network usually old phone only call through 3g or 2g network, whereas vowifi is voice/call over wifi so u call without network coverage using wifi only check vowifi for more details.
And yes u use prepaid it will autoroaming also, if u not always travelling use the one time pass is quite ok la

Look at the date of the posts. It's already outdated. Digi users have reported VoWifi working overseas since last year.

Which iphone? If 6s and above you are good to go

https://www.digi.com.my/support/our-network/vowifi

And the faq clears some questions here

https://www.digi.com.my/support/help-center/network/vowifi

First, test your connection in Malaysia, if you get WiFi calling in Malaysia then you are good to go around the world with wifi

Oh ya, before you go overseas, remember to disable voicemail, and if people wants to reach you when you are not in WiFi range you can simply reject your call and call them later when you have WiFi connection. Fyi, while roaming you will be charged for accepting call even when the call ends up in voicemail. So no voicemail, no surprise bill!

1. No

2. Easiest: Pinjam your wife's phone, put your sim, enable volte

Other: Call customer service, ask them to enable. The cs can detect what phone you use and can deny your request. Some forumers said to lie what phone you are using, so up to your own virtue

Did you ask her how? Most likely VoLTE was enabled from Day 1 of the plan. If your Digi line doesn't already have VoLTE enabled (see "Settings > My Subscription" in the app), you need to ask Digi CS to enable for you, either by calling or through Live Chat. Note that if Digi doesn't support your particular phone model for VoLTE, enabling VoLTE on your line is also no use.

Someone had to enable VoLTE for the plan. No Digi plan comes inherently with VoLTE turned on, but all Digi plans are entitled to have VoLTE enabled if requested.

I dun think this is true? My prepaid and postpaid both automatically activated volte. I didn't enable it anywhere or requested it from CS before.
