Am still waiting to see if Digi is going to respond to Hotlink Prepaid Unlimited

A Digi FB staff replied someone under the Digi NEXT Prepaid post that they will announce it once I try becomes available. Let’s hope something is indeed cooking

Understand many are using HUP to refer to Hotlink latest prepaid plan with unlimited data. But its official name is actually Hotlink Prepaid Unlimited (HPU).

That one is actually Xpax hehe

Speaking of, Digi Prepaid used to be known as Digi Beyond Prepaid many years ago... often referred as Beyond Prepaid back then.

When exactly did they tell you this ? I have done MNP multiple times from other telco straight to Digi Smart and Digi LiVE.

I had done multiple MNP between different telcos between year 2016 to 2019, the last MNP was done in the first half of 2019. I never had any problem to port-in to Digi Prepaid directly from Maxis Postpaid.

As usual, they asked if I was using postpaid and prepaid, if postpaid I should made sure I had no outstanding. If I had any supplementary numbers, I needed to port-out all numbers.

The SIM card for MNP to Digi Prepaid was free. All my MNP request was done at Digi Store The Gardens, owned and run directly by Digi, not a dealer run Digi Store.

Whether you are using Maxis, Digi or Celcom, do avoid getting what you want to get done at dealer run centre. Many years ago when Digi 4G just came on the market, Digi offered free sim upgrade to 4G-ready sim. The Digi Store I went to, owned by dealer, charged me for the sim upgrade. The staff insisted it wasn’t free. I later called Digi hotline to clarify on the free sim upgrade. In the end the dealer run Digi Store called, apologised and refunded my money.

By right should be better now as many have gone back to work. Many kids are back in school too.

I agree. The app is seriously laggy. After so many updates it is still laggy.

Current offering of Digi Postpaid 80 and Digi Postpaid 100 Infinite are already very competitive for the time being as both plans are not only cheaper but also give better value compared to Maxis and Celcom.

Not at the moment. Only Digi Postpaid 80 got RM12/month rebate now for 1 year.

By the way, if you guys want to save money, you can actually register for a Digi postpaid line using your parents name as Digi has been giving out RM10/month rebate to senior citizen since some time last year. Your parents need to be at least 60 years old to be eligible for this offer.

I finally checked mine today and 4 out of 5 of my Digi Prepaid numbers are offered with this RM1/1 day/unlimited 3Mbps data. Not a single number is active. The only prepaid number that isn’t offered this deal is my old main line that I used with Digi Postpaid for many years until 2018.

I also checked the Digi prepaid numbers registered under my mom’s NRIC and 2 out of 4 numbers also have this offer.

Not really. I never subscribed to any internet pass using any of these prepaid numbers.

Yes. All numbers are in their grace period now. I keep them for personal nostalgic reason.
