So what you meant is that when there is an error on the screen that says "frequency limit reached", we can just wait for awhile and the terminal will prompt us for pin? Is this something new?

That's what I thought. Frequency limit reached, there is no other way but to insert card for pin.

Anyway, I have been resetting it at Shell kiosk, so not a problem for me. I thought you found a different way as in your last post you said to wait for the terminal to prompt for pin when the transaction fails.

Anyway internet transaction with OTP or keying pin at ATM won't reset. Tried them long time ago, unless there is any changes now, I wouldn't know.

Yes, correct. If there is cashback given, then minimum you will get RM1.50. Either that or nothing if you don't wave more than RM30.

It probably is following the date of transaction, whoever used the card first will be entitled the cashback first.

Everytime I try to tap on the wireless white terminal, it keeps showing Error on the terminal BUT on my samsung pay it says the transaction already successful. The terminal is PBB terminal? Like what Popular Bookstore is using. They are using PBB terminal.

I had this problem and only when I used Samsung Pay with Quantum Visa on PBB terminal. Error on merchant side, but transaction is successful on our side. Don't worry, the unposted amount will be released in a week or so automatically.

The solution to this is to ask for a card replacement. I went through two cards before getting the correct working card the third time. Now everything is fine.

According to PBB, it's the timeout issue. It's definitely the card problem. If you don't want to get card replacement, then next time when you see PBB terminal, use physical card lor. Or you can still use Samsung Pay to get your Samsung reward points, then only use your physical card. 😅 You just bear with the unposted transaction for a week. If not, then just ask for a card replacement, but then you won't be able to use the old card until you get your new card in a week.

This is just a normal sms. When I went shopping and swiped at a few merchants' terminal in a day, I sometimes got sms like this too. Probably they look at the pattern of your expenditure. I didn't use much during the weekdays and on weekend swiped a few times, so they just inform you so that you are aware, to prevent unauthorised transactions due to card lost or stolen.

I topped up BP twice. Third time failed. Waited half an hour then it was successful. 4th one waited for another 10 minutes. 5th one just topped up Boost.

If you have a paywave transaction more than RM250 and pin is used, then it will reset the paywave count limit.

Setel can be used with Boost in app, under Do More > Transport, then Boost can be used to make payment. Boost can't be used on Setel app for top up. If you have Boost, you don't need to install Setel app and still can use Setel.

It works for Shell and BHP, can press cancel button. Petronas cannot cancel, have to pump.

Yes, I had this issue when I first started using QV. No problem with other terminal, only PB terminal. And yes, no problem with physical card, only had problem with samsung pay on PB terminal. Samsung Pay worked on all other terminal that wasn't PB. I reported to CS and got my card replaced. 2nd card I received also had problem. Couldn't even use physical card for paywave at all, only can use pin. Then got it replaced again. 3rd card then all work well till now.

You may have to get it changed. Previously I had similar problem using PB Visa Quantum via Samsung Pay. It will fail on PB card terminal but ok with other bank terminal. No problem using physical card to wave on PB card terminal, but not on Samsung Pay. Had it changed twice and it is working perfectly now.

I'm thinking that the RM50,000 quota may have lasted till 7 Jul. I didn't plan on this for month 1, but I received RM10 as well. The only spending for me that was not ewallet transaction was on 2 Jul and 7 Jul.

I called CS to do the redemption straight away, without needing to fill up any forms, and asked CS to deduct all the points from QM, then balance from QV. That simple, and waited for my gift to arrive.
