3000 people...that is provided everyone swipes RM1000. Like I just swiped RM420 only, 3% is only RM12.60.

Yes, by keying in the pin will reset the paywave limit. ATM doesn't reset it. Or have you tried it successfully? At least it didn't work for me.

I wanted to know this too as I often accidentally trigger MST at Aeon terminal. Though it doesn't state that it's contactless on the receipt, the only thing we know that it is a transaction made via Samsung Pay (which already meant contactless) is the digital card number stated on the receipt.

I think they must be BigPay users as BigPay card needs first transaction to be pin transaction. 🤣 Customer service also told me that pin or contactless for first transaction is fine. My friend also did first transaction via paywave. No problem at all.

My first transaction I used Samsung Pay no problem. No need to use pin for my first transaction.

I created pin via online banking. What about you?

Samsung Pay is the same as paywave/contactless....also need to reset with pin every 9 transactions.

There are a few forummers who also used paywave for the first transaction without any issue. My friend also did use paywave for the first transaction. What was the error that you got?

But when I use ewallet at Popular, cashier will bring out another machine for ewallet. The machine looks like those old card terminal with keypad.

I sent the email to custsvc@publicbank.com.my and attached my latest income tax statement and 3 months bank statement. Basically, it's the same document required for card application. You can send your latest salary slip.

My application took 8 days in total.

I just requested for an increase of credit limit, didn't mention any amount. I just let them decide based upon the documents I sent to them.

I have tried resetting at Shell and BHP before. Cancelling is just a button. Only that Shell machine will print out receipt after cancellation, wasting paper 😅. I have tried once at Petronas and it couldn't be cancelled so I never want to go back. Petronas has no buttons to cancel and lifting up the pump and putting it back did not cancel it. In the end, got to pump, and RM200 was held. RM200 will not be held at Shell or BHP after cancellation.

Like you, I called 3 times too. First one told me new card no rebate, second one asked me to spend RM600 first and called back. So after spending, I called the third one but initially she said no, but I told her that her colleague asked me to spend RM600 to get rebate, then only she put up the request for management approval. I waited some time but didn't see the rebate until almost a week later.

I always call the number, straight away press '1' for English, then press '8' to speak to customer service without listening to all options. 😜

So sometimes my call can be done in less than 5 minutes. My last call to convert flexipay was done in 3 minutes plus.

Yes, that's right, no points or cashback for paywave less than RM30. So best is to use PIN so you can reset your paywave limit or use other cards, for example QM to get points.
