Some user said Public bank is still on the old way or something. But i find public bank displaying credit card details have more information like statement date, authorized amount, cashback, etc compare to other bank like Standard Chartered or OCBC.

Originally thought of using it to topup my TNG card at Jaya Grocer or other like Tesco to see if eligible for the cashback.
but anyhow, the change to purely contactless payment also stays the same i think (mean must with paywave)

while for Master no more dining
thought of use it for dining if dont want to spam it fully for online transaction such as BP or online shopping.
but let it be. at least still have the cashback for same category

Yeah no more dining on quantum mastercard. Can use quantum visa or bigpay.

Contactless: tab amount up to RM250 or 9 times. Reset by pin. Accumulated up to Rm500. Can use search funtion for more info on contactless.

The revision is very good for Quantum Visa.
The downside of the revision; cash back is only awarded for tap amount >= RM 30

I can understand why Public Bank changes the transactions eligible for cashback, to contactless transactions, for Public Bank Quantum Visa Credit Card. As such, more people will prefer to use this card.

Then again, for Public Bank Quantum Mastercard Credit Card, why did Public Bank remove dining transactions from eligible transactions?

Sigh, another card service tax of RM 25 is incurred, when I need to get another credit card with cashback for dining transactions.

That could be a move to differentiate it from the VS

you can use contactless QV for dining or reload from QMC to BP for non contactless dining, no need to worry so much on the changes

When swipe using public bank quantum visa just remember amount swipe must be minimum RM30 to be eligible for cashback 5%.
