No lah.
No jealous.   I got my own bike.  Bigger bike.

Just trying to emulate how people India collect their new bikes.  They have a celebration.
If you want one we can organise one. Lol.

Sorry don’t know much bout how Indian collect theirs as I’m Chinese. When I even collected my brand new G30 2 years back, I went alone, briefed how to use the car for 15 mins and already left the showroom

Posting around LYN bikerbase can share the joy also lo.
Looks like luck is on your side.

This bike has potential for long term bike. Hope it serves you well.

Yup hope so it’s reliable, buying this for leisure and not daily ride since we’ve 3 cars. Intend to keep this bike long term. Had a KTM Duke 250, really unreliable and lots of problem from day 1 itself.

The old OE tyres (Metzeler) were not very good although it was top of the line model. I hear now is give Dunlop. Do you plan to use it or change it as soon as situation permits?
*
Hope they’re giving Dunlop, let’s see.

A bit waste to change it immediately, will assess and see how it perform before maybe changing them. If it’s not good, will consider changing to a softer compound tyre maybe from Michelin. I love Michelin tyres

agree this is the best foot forward
it's really between Michelin and Battlax if budget allows it
otherwise there are more like Maxxis, Korean or Indonesian brands, too
*
I rather not save back on tyres which is paramount to safety. I’m even using the best tyres for my car, Michelin PS4 RF which cost a bomb 😅

I sold my cb650r less than 2 months. Find that it's unsuitable for long distance riding with butt aching, strong wind during high speed, fuel tank capavity small and bike size too small for my height 182cm. Do love the look and finishing of the bike.

Just ordered a Tracer 9GT

yaka? im 180 and am thinking of upgrading to cb650r from cb250r.
would also like tracer 9gt but its too big for city riding lane filtering?

width is more or less the same if not using pannier, whats more important is the height and length of the bike for bigger size bloke like us. If not, will look like a monkey riding an elephant biggrin.gif

you'd be fine with the bigger bikes as long as you accept the fact you wont be able to cilok like a kapchai.
generally, lane filtering even bigger bikes should be ok as they will only be about 100-200mm wider than a kapchai only. Again it depends on the roads. The only worry is when you have panniers that stick out further than your handlebars. I have seen people forget they have panniers on and fail to squeeze into a gap. The only limiting factor is our longer than usual wheelbase and higher weight meaning we can't turn as sharply as a kapchai if we need to squeeze between cars and lanes.
you mean an elephant riding a monkey?

Hahaha..oops

Wow just 2 month??

Sorry don't get me wrong, but did you do testing and research before buying?
I mean from your keyword "long distance riding" there already know you might suit for touring bike
You can you go to sales gallery to test (depend on the event)
Plus many reviewer from youtube said it for town riding, and mybe a bit of fun on the circuit...
Cb650R is my 1st big bike, before this just wave 100 and I did tons of research to make sure I did not buy the wrong bike
*
Nope didn’t test ride and didn’t know I prefer long distance riding
