Nowadays, The bank are just like Ah Long, only better as they have license.
As a citizen, we are always onto ourself to weight out the options which may help or crush our future.
I do not support my friends to apply for personal loan unless REALLY REALLY REALLY Necessary, and most of the time, it is unnecessary.

QUOTE(kei18kun @ Dec 16 2009, 01:05 PM) bank is better since they don't come scare u and paint ur house red and u always have a last resort which is go to AKPK ah long will do all sorts of things... True. True. The bank paint your name red. Last but not least, it is better compare to ah long. QUOTE(wufei @ Dec 16 2009, 02:22 PM) For me, the bank never ask whether you want the loan or dowan... Straight away credit the money into your account. And i didnt sign any agreement other than the application form. True. True. They call me up stating that the money is credit inside for the personal loan (didn't apply for one). I call up the branch manager and @#$%^&*(*&^#%&@*$ them off and I close my account due to this matter.

QUOTE(alcatrez @ Aug 15 2010, 10:56 PM) Guys, need personal loan to Finance a hobby. Rm 15k to RM 20k. I've been working for 10 years. No Credit card as i prefer cash. I've finished paying my car loan (i've had 4 cars previously). I work for a GLC. Depending on the amount and interest rate, i plan to pay within 3-5 years. Anyone can help me? regards My friend, you need personal loan to finance a hobby? Are you sure about it? Is it worth it? Nevertheless, it is your choice, but i seirously thinks that you are plunging yourself into the whirpool to drown yourself.

QUOTE(DressToIntimidate @ Aug 19 2010, 12:57 AM) Hmmm if anyone has unused land(s), and would like to apply for loan or fast cash, you can head down to Hap Seng Credit, they are loaning up to millions of ringgit within 4 days, and they're charging 12-15% interest only. But of course, your land must be a good land, not some 'caplang' one haha.. It's Hap Seng Credit's latest loan plan, the rate is really good, considering 'ah longs' are charging up to 20-30% interest =S If I charge to bank, how much bank will charge the interest?

QUOTE(hackwire @ Aug 19 2010, 02:49 PM) Need RM 50,000 loan. Only have Company Bank Statement. Final amount in the statement a/c RM 10K. Can get loan? No Salary slip. Credit Card limit is 7K. can get? My friend this is personal loan leh, not company business loan. Business loan also cannot give you RM 50k with RM 10k in your bank statement. Unless your company monthly cash flow is "pretty". You come out with a salary slip through your company to you, say RM 10k per month. And you contribute your EPF monthly for 3 months. After 3 months, you go to apply personal loan. Sure pass?

Out-of-topic: I better go and apply money lender license, and give personal loan. It seems many people are looking for personal loan.
