QUOTE(jamesterlua @ Mar 1 2008, 08:49 PM) got one question here, can a student get a personal loan ??? like 3k, for emergency use ??? You need a pay slip and justify your source of income so if you don't have one, I don't think they'll approve it. Perhaps you get a supplementary card from your parents instead?

QUOTE(smwah @ May 28 2009, 10:37 PM) need to ask, currently need some money to start up business. It is wise to refinance my house loan or go for personal loan? My housing loan still within lock in period. Housing loan is the cheapest because your house (property) is the best collateral.

QUOTE(myfiona2004 @ Mar 24 2011, 06:38 PM) i am looking for loan amount @ RM9k got credit card more than 1 year and salary over 2k please do pm me your offer. thanks How about if I borrow you RM9K personally? If you have RM9K, one way of doing it is using balance transfer to reduce credit card interest rates. Spend lesser and slowly clear off the debts.

Personal loan are considered as unsecured lending and since there are no collateral, the bank will obviously charge a "cut throat" rate My advice is try to use balance transfer if possible before going for personal loans.
