FOR ocbc bank personal loan, we have 2 types of personal loan.
1. Flat Rate- 9.5% to 11.5% depending on your loan amount. if you want to settle it earlier, it is advisable after half of ur tenure. let say ur loan agreement is 5years, so u can settle it all after 2 and half years. no penalty impose. if you settle it earlier than that, will kena penalty.

2. Reducing balanced/Montly rest - 1st 30 days no interset, after that 1% per month. consider cheap for those who wants to use the money for short term and able to settle it asap. Businessmans, agents love this product. no penalty impose no matter when you settled the loan.

it is quite confusing if your salesperson didn't inform which type u r buying.
