Some banks do offer more than 5 times your salary if you used a credit card, so the bank could derived your income from your credit limit. I'm working for al-rajhi btw, feel free to enquire. Thanks

Thanks for your reply, Its true there's no penalty for early settlement and no notice needed, the legal fees which you mention is actually delivery charges which amounts to RM250 for the trade facility. Because in Islam there is no loan, only financing and in Islam the only way for a person to seek financing is through trading things or buying and selling. So the delievery charges is still the same no matter whats the amount of the financing. And to answer your question for early settlement there's no legal fees required, all fees are deducted from the beginning so during the tenure there won't be any additional charges. Thanks.

In my opinion, thats one of the cheapest, but you should check bank Islam, they're quite cheap (no pun intended). But these 2 banks deduct from your salary and its a bit troublesome is you're not a govt worker on not on their list of selected companies.

Hi zen,
as a banker my advice, its wise if...
> THe settlement does'nt require any notice or 1 month lieu of the instalment
> the settlement does'nt impose any penalty
> the repayment tenure is shorter or the same as the present loan
> Of course if the repayment is lower...

Hi GHoss,
its true, banks will want to look at your credit reference but if there's none, than sorry to say you can't buddy. If you're a degree holder and working in a listed company then Al-Rajhi will consider. If you're really in need of money why don't just apply for a credit card cause since you've tried cimb with a rate of 24% per annum, then credit card won't be any different cause their interest is only 17.5% per annum (quoting the highest). If you wanna Al-Rajhi out feel free to pm me.... THanks.

Bank Rakyat and Bank Islam is aggressive in giving out loan and you can call them up to check whether your company is under their approve list cause a friend of mine working at havi logistic which is a pte ltd company is eligible to do loan with bank rakyat..... : )
If that doesn't work you can pm me and apply for Al-Rajhi LOL : )
