I think the equity market has gone up to fast too furious.
Just bought Al-Aqar REITs to park my funds until the market cools off. With a NAV of RM 1.04 and trading at RM 0.95, it is a safe haven for the time being. Xuzen This post has been edited by xuzen: Jul 30 2009, 03:31 PM |

I am having my eyes on REITS now b'coz the KLSE mkt is too expensive for my taste now.
Will park my funds at REITS counter (treat it as FD) until KLSE drop to below CI 1100. Xuzen |

Just move half of my investment portfolio into REITS. Namely AlAqar, Hektar and QCapita.
Moving into defensive position. I am getting out of the Stocks and moving into Trusts and Bonds in anticipation of Bearish sentiments ahead. Xuzen |

I've got a question:
The dividend for Al-Aqar REIT was suppose to be: "Interim 2.8¢ TE 31-Jul-09 19-Aug-09 21-Aug-09 11-Sep-09 2.8¢". Source: http://biz.thestar.com.my/marketwatch/bonus/alldividends.asp TE means Tax-Exempted. But when I receive my div voucher, a 10% with-holding tax was levied. Is this a common thing? I.e., a 10% with-holding tax was levied even though the div is TE? Xuzen |
