Hi guys, recently been experiencing small neck pains and heart palpitation problems, drastic hair loss, and mood swings.
Last year I went to BP for check up, the ultrasound actually shows that my neck has a few tumors but hormone levels were normal, but doctor told me not to worry. So after that I didn't went to any check up and just let it be.

Until this year January till present, my heartbeat suddenly increased while I was even laying on bed and resting until I was about to faint, even on and off has chest pain too. I'm suspecting it is all related to my thyroid problems.

Does anybody has any recommendations for endocrinologist in KL?
Need some genuine and good doctor recommendation, because I know that some is really bloodsucking only money minded.

few growth in ur neck? u mean u felt some small lumps in ur neck? was it done w a dr? if yes, did the dr say anything about that growth? what about now? have u done any test now? because if last yr was ok then that result is not applicable to now. many things can happen inside ur body between ur last test and to date.

What kind of doctor checked you initially? GP? Might get recommendations for endocrinologist from doctor.

You dont need a endocrinologist per se. ENT specialists can also handle a thyrotoxic patient. so just find a hospital with a ENT department and you're set.

Thanks for your concern, went to Sunway Medical Centre and looked for Dr. Normayah Kitan, and it turned out as reviews said, she is a really super nice and friendly lady, most important genuine.
So I did blood test and ultrasound, my hormone levels were all actually normal and perfectly fine, but doctor suggested to go for biopsy because I had 2 large nodules on my left side and 1 tiny small one on my right side.

Did some research and if there is any suggestion for diet or natural way to reduce the lump from you guys would be good.
Doctor said currently there is no medication to reduce the size of it

Hi,

While I agree with the plan recommended, I also would advise for you to undergone Holter as you been having on and off palpitation, to exclude any possibility the event its originating from heart (arrhythmia).

If you need a second opinion, go see Datuk Dr Faridah, Gleneagles Hospital in Jln Ampang. She’s very good and trustworthy (won’t simply ask you to do expensive medical tests unless absolutely necessary). She has her own specialist clinic at the hospital.

You went for normal check up? Just curious on why there was a neck scan involved.. Did you request for it?

Is that reading from TFT? - Thyroid Function Test.

Are you experiencing any other symptoms? On any medication? Why so many test need to be done? Just 1 TFT and physical check by a GP can determine whether you have thyroid problem.

It’s thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) test.

First check in Oct was done in BP but they didn’t tell me anything.

The second and third test was done in hospital while I was food poison in Gleneagle. The doc ask me to go back and test again in Mar as he think low TSH was due to the medicine I took?

Anyway, I I have a doubt with the Gelnneagle doc as he is not the specialist with this field. Hence, I decided go to Sunway medical to visit the specialist and which nearer to my house.
