I am now looking for a BI reporting tool, mainly for data display. Prefer a light-weight software with good data visualization effects and can be displayed on mobile and large screens. Other functions I demand are data query from the database and better can write the data back to databases.
I am now considering Tableau and FineReport. Any idea?

I have use this

I used Microsoft Power BI about 3 years ago.
Here is the screenshot:


The data entry in Excel:



Actually I had to key in the data in Excel Online, save it on OneDrive for Business, and voila, Power BI will automatically refreshes.

That was 3 years ago, I don't know its latest changes.

cheapest option would be

create a shared folder in sharepoint, use excel on a share point dashboard.'
limit 2B lines on data query.
cons need some work for dashboard on sharepoint so it works on all platform.
