it's the reflector that makes the difference, light bulbs not going to help much, i have both alza and mazda 2, my alza with projector headlights is bright even if i use a cheapo bulb, but when i use a rm200 piaa bulbs in my m2, just slight improvement
+1 on this comment from Legioss.I used to own several older cars which had terrible light throw. Thought of changing bulbs would do the trick - spent hundreds on Nightbreakers/PIAA and even opted for 4300K above in the hopes that the slightly 'whiter' lights would fix things...
I was wrong.
Much depends on the reflectors.
PS: Used to drive a BMW E32/Jaguar X-Type and from reading online comments - the stock headlamps are notorious for poor headlight issues.
