Anyone have issue with maxis mobile data recently? The 4G is very unstable. Keep switch between 4G and H+/3G rapidly.
Most of the time getting H+/3G instead of 4G. When the connection is in H+/3G, the mobile data is totally unusable. Can't even send a simple WhatsApp message out.
Pls reply to this post if any of you guys have issue with Maxis. Thanks

I have the similar issue as well.
Currently Maxis data are very unstable with most of the times is at H+ instead of 4G.

will be able to confirmed this is not single cases, my friends are having a similar issue as well.
Area: Penang Island and Bukit Mertajam.

I have a backup line of Celcom and it is performing much better at having continuous 4G data coverage.

I dont think this issue is just Maxis. Digi also having same issue. Anyone can confirm with other telcos like Umobile and celcom ? Was thinking about switching to Maxis but now I have second thought after seeing Maxis threads in LYN lol

Ive been using both Maxis and Digi and at my place, it sux to the max. During peak hour 8pm - 2am, u cant even open up a netflix with 720p. It stuck at loading screen till 99%. Even if the movie running, it will run in 144p resolution thus rendering ur movie experiences to the worst. If for mobile gaming, it does affecting too.

Yup, the signal sucks big time at night.
I think it's because of the 44gb free data fault. It should be return to normal after the Raya promo.

For my area, DiGi seems to be doing well, but Maxis which used to be good.... is quite unstable these days.
Videos kept buffering too.

been a maxis user since 2011, but the data coverage is poor at certain important area.

usually i just switch to my other telco line.

but since there's no improvement since 2011 at those area after several reports, i decided to terminate my maxis line.

Hi All,

yes lately found maxis very slow in connection.. not sure why... sometimes search a website also very slow... my home unifi also faster than maxis.... playing games etc also very slow and hang sometimes.... very frusfrating....

I didn't read all the posts here but currently I'm getting 2G and alternating between 2G and 3G. Cipet. Anyone experience the same thing now? Bloody shit.

Totally agree. Pay expensive bill and we got 4g disruption for 8 - 9 HOURS STRAIGHT. 4G is not stable also. Getting 10 - 20 seconds pure lag while gaming.

Not only that, there's weekday and weekend limit whereas other telco don't. Haiz

I seriously dont understand why you guys ONLY REALIZED it now? I have been complaining since iPhone 5 was introduced.

You might wonder what does that have to do with iPhone 5. Well, one of the earliest 4G phone is the iPhone 5. I signed that up for my wife and while my wife iPhone 5 was flying on 4G connection, my phone which consists of some Nokia and a HTC Legend which only has 3G/H cant even get proper internet to work. Such was the difference for years. I ported out straightaway decoupling from my wife line, and wonder why I didnt do so earlier. I did went back to Maxis for few months a year or two ago after I finally got a 4G phone but it seem like Maxis did nothing to improve their 3G/H speed whenever you are stuck with it in certain area.

Maxis claim only a prepaid fault, but I have postpaid and got no LTE in Wangsa Maju all day and in Bandar Tun Razak in the evening. Only late I got to Ampang and and got LTE, but when I got home to Unifi WiFi my WhatsApp went mad with messages

i’m prepaid user and still having problem with the connection..... since yesterday noon...

so now we’re living in a world where we can’t even call people smh why are we paying so much for this service
