Hi, currently using Dell U2414H. Planning to upgrade to a 1440p monitor. Mainly will be using my pc for gaming and editing photos.

Acer - Love the specs on paper. 2k, IPS, 165hz and G-Sync. Will be a huge upgrade from a 60hz monitor. But, read somewhere that the display was not as good as dell.

Dell - Excellent display, but will lose the high refresh rate and g-sync. And display also quite small at 25’ only. Will not differ much.

Anyone has experience with these monitor? Will the display quality differs much with each other? Should i just stay with my current monitor, instead?

Thanks

How much are you willing to spend? Perhaps you might want to look at some FreeSync (G-Sync compatible) monitors icon_idea.gif

The Aorus AD27QD is certified as G-Sync compatible, and has 144Hz and 1440p resolution icon_idea.gif

Will the u2518d shows a big improvement in quality as compared the u2414h? I’ve read somewhere that 25 in 2k will not show a big improvement over a 24 in 1080. And yeah, I really love the build quality and the picture quality of dell monitors.

About 2.5k. But, if i can find something cheaper is better. Hahah. G-Sync not a must, but it’s a plus. the AD27QD looks interesting. Do you perhaps know what kind of panel did they use?
