My nissan almera comes with 3 year warranty,
SA told me to add another 1k to extend warranty to 5 years.
how is this ok? or should say no him.

Just watch out the infamous Almera wheel bearing issue only, other than that you probably won't need extended warranty because that part will likely fail within 3 years anyway.

Got to check thier T&C for the extended warranty. What and what not covered, then you will know worth it or not

To be honest I own an Almera. Exactly at the 3yr 60k plus mark... The rear bearings start to hum. Is it worth the extra constant service at SC that charge u a premium? No lo. Rear bearings done outside is like rm150-200/piece with labour. Nothing else is wrong with the car. Outside service is easily 20-30% cheaper with easier waiting time.
