Not many choice for small size tyre, if comfort/quite tyre but not long last
Most R14 size just average tyre, my officemate go to Michelin XM for better treadwear but not quite tyre. Most good tyre start with R15 or R16 Other choice for good comfort Bridgestone Turanza |

There is no perfect tires as what you mention.
-economical -quiet -good grip wet and dry -last long, i.e. higher treadwear Want economical, you can get higher treadwear tires but lack in quiet and normal grip in wet & dry - GITI/Falken Tires If want quiet, good grip wet and dry - Michelin, Yokohama & Bridgestone Personally my recommendation for average driver is Yokohama ES32 tire model for now. As the price is in middle range and not that expensive as per Michelin or Bridgestone. |

QUOTE(spreeeee @ Jun 19 2019, 02:50 PM) Best recommended tyres for R14 with following criteria: rule of thumb in tyres -economical -quiet -good grip wet and dry -last long, i.e. higher treadwear economical will never get good grip. (where got so cheap and good?) quiet will never good grip. (quite mean less rolling resistance, meaning no good grip) good grip will expensive. (common sense) last long will never good grip. (they must preserve it so less contact grip, where got good grip) But for a R14, easy. Ecopia 300 CC6 SPJ5 KinergyEX Duraplus Don't take XM2. The price alone is not worth it. |

Cc6 only worth it if you want a comfortable ride, with ok grip in dry and below average grip in wet. If you like driving fast and aggressively, please don't get this tyre lol.
Yoko es32 and bridge ecopia are better all rounders. |

QUOTE(spreeeee @ Jun 20 2019, 10:03 AM) For 14 inch its only EP150. Honestly speaking XM2 is just overpriced, overrated and not worth the money. Just get the EP150. Its good enough even the new 1.3L Myvi uses it as the OEM tyre. This post has been edited by artificialRAGE: Jun 20 2019, 02:24 PM |

Better skip cc6, sidewall too soft until going holes rim also will kena even have 10cm sidewall...Dry grip is OK..Wet grip is terrible..Wet cornering can go off road easily if drive fast...U turn skid if more than 15km/h..Going resin car park..U can drift all the way...😏
