all lights will be hot due to energy transfer. consider the angle of the reflector, lumens and wattage when u are buying track light for optimal output for the purposes of your space.

Any type of track light will work on concrete ceiling. It is definitely feasible and easy to do

The centre wires has hooks for fan. You'll need to remove those, and rely on aircon only. Watch the electricity bill. tongue.gif

I use 7W track light . Pls take note that it is not advisable to put too many lights on the same track especially if they are high wattage one. Most selling in Lazada or Shopee are low quality, especially the track. Make sure you get a better quality one with full copper wire.

Most local shops sells this brand called Rio but I find it not as good as this other Taiwan brand. I forgot the name but I bought it from lightcraft (which is now Deng Lighting) at Jalan Sungai Besi.

Tracks are solid and heavy. The lights itself is good but only one choice at that time I bought it. I have like 7-8 lights on one track. Being using for four years now
ok found the website - https://www.titanlight.com/product-category...g/track-system/

in your opinion how much do you think the rough costing would be? maybe i'll ask my contractor..  hmm.gif  I think track lighting should be cheaper right? is it a lot cheaper? btw is my understanding on track light correct? basically can simply install any track light onto the rail anywhere? also does it require multiple lighting points?
*
the rail got maximum watt it can support, you need to check with the seller on this

I guess i will get track light first, in years to come when I have the budget I'll do the cove thingy  laugh.gif  the thought of just having 4 non-recessed surface downlights makes me sweat, plus it would not be that bright.

Would like to ask, are all tracklights compatible with each other? coz I see on shopee people like buying a lot of track light bulbs but i don't know what's their track type. or is there like a code for different types?
*
if you plan to renovate in future then it will cost a lot and you wont be able to stay in your house for few days for the plaster dust to settle

QUOTE(KuzumiTaiga @ Jun 17 2019, 02:36 PM)
I must say your paint colour choice is on point  icon_rolleyes.gif

as for lighting... well.. how do you feel about it?  laugh.gif

my current plan is something like this

i think you can also install the rail closer to walls and what you gonna do with the extra wiring point?

for LED lightning, if you want to put more tracklights then go for low wattage and low lumen lights, if you plan to put less tracklights or LED spotlights, go for high watt high lumen

you can also get those tracklights with adjustable color temperature, brightness, zoom from china
