Anyone from here having chickenpox infection during early pregnancy below 20 weeks? Been gone the internet shown they is risk when pregnant mum get it in early pregnancy. Consulted OB and suggest to get varicella zoster immune globulin shot (VariZIG) but the whole Klang Valley hospital SJMC, KPJ, Columbia Asia, SMC and HKL also doesn't have this shot. So Dr. prescribed the antiviral medication (acyclovir) to reduce the severity. Now we just pray it doesn't affect the baby. Any of you having this issue before and how was the baby?
