Ya. I also thought it would open hood. But I having problem pry the hood like incredible hard to open like breaking it. So I dint try further scare I would break it. I wonder if only my unit.
But I try shine light through the wheels, the hood area seems empty. But am not sure. That's why try to ask here if anyone manage to open the hood

that's probably why it cost less than their normal retail sets? hmm.gif

One thing i noticed that the F40's rim a bit small and less details on it.

Even the smaller scale F40 from other mag has better rim details.

Anyone knows does the F50's rear engine bay can be opened? I tried to open but cant  sweat.gif

a good indication is to check whether there is the translucent strip holding the hood in place (like the ones at the door). if no, then the bay cannot be opened. anyway, you won't have to use much effort to open the engine bay so if you've tried and can't, then more likely than not it was never meant to be sweat.gif

No, it doesn't has the strip holding it. The original brand Bburago has the strip holding it if not mistaken.

Then the mag version is the lower version of the original model then.  sad.gif

i guess so... but you get the acrylic case instead sweat.gif

I think the price also contributing to lower sales? At 100+ not many ppl will fork out that amount to collect all.

Probably will select the one they like only.

correct. correct. correct. another point is the magazine... only in chinese (or japanese). i only tengok gambar so it's ok laugh.gif

So far I got the f40, enzo, laferrari, 599 gto, 458, 488 gtb, f12

Nice, i've got F40 and F50 currently and hoping to get GTO yr1984. Search some popular bookstore but still cant find. tongue.gif
*
it's still available from davincico, if you die die must have. i'm hoping popular gets stock of the la ferrari aperta coz already sold out at davincico (popular had stock of the 612 scaglietti, although it's 'sold out' at davincico's website).

well i guess it's a matter of whether you're willing to pay the rm20 premium for the engine bits... and whether it's actually available at retail stores (and even so, you gotto know whether the model differs). i haven't displayed any of my models with doors/engine bay open so i guess it's good enough. and yes, never collected this scale before sweat.gif

anyway, i think the price point difficult for the collection to do well in malaysia that's why davincico also didn't continue bringing the remaining 20. personally, a few that got away... but no big deal.
