Pardon my noobish-ness, but whats the big deal about all the different torrent clients? I use transmission myself and it works really well.

It's a matter of preference, just like how I might dig Jessica Alba and you might not.

On a serious note, uTorrent on Windows is amazing, been using it for almost more than 1 year. The benefits include a smal memory footprint and the ability to manaul select your downloads.

Transmission rocks. It beats any of the torrent client that i used on my Windoze... (speed wise)

Compare with Transmission uTorrent is at the upper hand

with function like DHT and encryption

plus uTorrent have selective download and WebUI...

Being part of the testing group for uTorrent's OS X port, I'd say it's definitely looking promising, even in alpha.

It is owning Transmission, speed-wise. I can say this-- once it is feature complete, us Mac users will finally have a respectable torrent client to use. smile.gif
