Yes, it will be very noisy. Unless your windows has a good soundproof.

yes. everything to do with main road.. coz the sound will reflect from the roads up to your lot. Unless they have done sound proofing eg barrier walls that reduce the sound from the main roads.

I recently visited a unit at Boulevard 28 that faced the MRR2.

It was on the 43rd floor, once you close the windows (which were really good windows I must say) you can hear a bit of traffic noise.

Open the windows however and it is a different story.

Highly depends. There are a couple apartments along MEX which I think the mid levels are of the same elevation as the highway. I remembered seeing some complaints about the noise

1) i think the most noisy ones are from motorbikes/superbikes shakehead.gif can't imagine those same level as MEX/bkt jalil area.

2) how many times does one open their balcony? rolleyes.gif unless your staying at Desa Putra facing that nice small piece of jungle/greenLung, or the havens ipoh, or whichever condo with green lungs(not many to name i guess)

3) thick curtains maybe can help to soundproof your unit, there is always a solution biggrin.gif

4) on another note, i think you should ask people in saujana klia how they handle the Airoplane sound on top of their houses biggrin.gif maybe got some other cheap solutions..

Laman Glenmarie is also on the landing path for planes. For Bukit Jalil area, besides the MEX highway, the other apartments are located at elevated heights (either car parks or on a hill).

this is the best thing one can do, before renting or subsale a particular place/condo to have the feel + know the surroundings +/- . cheap yet effective cool2.gif

Personal view: plan for long term own stay = avoid facing highway.

Too much stress with day time work and the hassle of traffic, all I want is peacefully resting at home during evening , not to see the red sea of car lights and the noise.

U need to check the windows whether is single glaze or double glaze.
If single glaze still will be very noisy.

If double glaze, if installed correctly, it should like almost 0 noisy level.

Double glaze mean the window is consist of 2 pieces of glass and a air-gap is in between 2 glass.
If u view the window only a layer of glass, that is single glaze.

I used to stay near airport. After a while, you don't even notice the airplanes taking off. Just biasa already.
