Does anyone here use Panther Protect Screens?
https://www.panther-asia.com/
Anyone knows if there are any other alternatives on the market these days especially one that performs just as good and not as pricey.

QUOTE(Bjorn1688 @ Jun 10 2019, 08:56 PM) Does anyone here use Panther Protect Screens? im in the same boat as you tried looking for cheaper options but I couldn't find any. so I ditched the plan https://www.panther-asia.com/ Anyone knows if there are any other alternatives on the market these days especially one that performs just as good and not as pricey. my other worry is that it would make the place dark with this screens. |

QUOTE(philipskardon @ Jun 10 2019, 09:12 PM) Am looking at it more as an insect screen. Tints while good will still require a grille. QUOTE(laksamana @ Jun 10 2019, 09:25 PM) Yeah I use Majestec for my semi-D. Its awesome, but very expensive ... Are you happy with the results and performance? Would you do it again?Nearly 100k for the whole house QUOTE(littlewing @ Jun 10 2019, 09:37 PM) im in the same boat as you tried looking for cheaper options but I couldn't find any. so I ditched the plan I had 2 rooms with Panther screens, it was a west-facing room. Definitely made the room darker by at least 70% and it does restrict air-flow as well.my other worry is that it would make the place dark with this screens. |

Not sure cheaper or not but to me it’s far more superior than panther. I feel more people are attracted to Panther though, maybe because it’s from Australia. |

QUOTE(Bjorn1688 @ Jun 12 2019, 02:14 AM) Am looking at it more as an insect screen. Tints while good will still require a grille. Ahh that’s great feedback. Would not install it if it would make the area darker and restrict air flow. Two big negatives. Are you happy with the results and performance? Would you do it again? I had 2 rooms with Panther screens, it was a west-facing room. Definitely made the room darker by at least 70% and it does restrict air-flow as well. so Now I will just go with mild grills on the inside and find a magnetic mosquito netting for my sliding door. QUOTE(idoblu @ Jun 12 2019, 12:34 PM) Check out http://arxtech.com.my/web/arxtech-swing-doors/ Thanks for the link, will check them out. Not sure cheaper or not but to me it’s far more superior than panther. I feel more people are attracted to Panther though, maybe because it’s from Australia. Part of the reason why most people think of Panther when ti comes to these screens isn't so much because it is an Australian product but more along the lines that it is heavily promoted here especially at all the expos and fairs. That's actually how I got to know of this product being available in the market. QUOTE(littlewing @ Jun 12 2019, 01:27 PM) Ahh that’s great feedback. Would not install it if it would make the area darker and restrict air flow. Two big negatives. Yes it is definitely one of the downsides to this product the other being that it is only available in black (some may like it but I personally don't) so Now I will just go with mild grills on the inside and find a magnetic mosquito netting for my sliding door. Personally I won't recommend fitting it in a place that isn't gated and guarded as crooks may view it that your house does not have any grilles and it will be a constant target for break-ins especially if it is at a ground floor window. |

Curious if anyone has used Apresi security netting for the sliding/folding door? The quality looks quite good so just curious if there's any reviews here
