Well, I just changed my Talk Plan to SMS Plan, since I use SMS more than I call someone...

Now I am considering whether wanna convert into postpaid or remain this prepaid... phew... quite difficult to make a decision actually...

IMO, postpaid is more for business and prepaid is more for students. First of all activ5 rocks unless your circle of friends is very big lah. Students have a choice to call by fixed line rather than by cellphone. Also once you are on postpaid, you are on a monthly commitment in which not using enough is wasting.

Yeah, I was among the first to own a Hotlink sim card, at least my number ends with triple 888 at the back. The shop told me that it is a VIP number, okaylah, for RM300, if it is a good number also, I think they will sell a few hundred too no matter it is for Easy or Total plan sim cards, right? Hai ..... these shops are really too much.  vmad.gif  mad.gif  vmad.gif

Anyway, Maxis is nuts to sell a sim card for a few bucks, if they're selling a reload coupon for a few bucks with 30 days validity period than they baru  thumbup.gif

And yeah some of the prepaid numbers are very nice also man like 012-x221000.... and there are also several others with numbers all like 012-3321121 (something similar) for prepaid.

I was told 1 cent per sms to ALL maxis 012/017 user rite??
I'm using subline now, but how do i change to the sms one?? Can i do it on9?? Or I need to pay maxis center a visit??
*
subline is still postpaid and only prepaid qualify for the 1sen sms. you'll need to go together with the principal account holder (your mom or dad) to a maxis center to migrate to prepaid.

RM 1.20/min for adjacent calls? Thats cutthroat rate! Even calling to Singapore is so much cheaper. They really know how to chop people lah.

I checked my bill I call Ipoh only RM 0.20 per minit..just want to ask would the rate (for postpaid) be the same if I call Penang or JB? cause like that calling to the JB fixed line via mobile will be cheaper than use TM fixed line, yeah? Btw, what are the mobile call rates from KL to Sabah and Sarawak?

I think most company won't let you use handphone during work time unless your expected to receive calls from your mobile as part of your job. Only then can it be abuse to call your friends. smile.gif
