Take it from me, if you've never turn on the simcard, it has not been registered in the server, hence you cant bar it when its not activated in the first place.

i dont think maxis will give out the customer details so easily
*
QUOTE(Kerry1136 @ Jan 24 2007, 06:15 PM)
Yeah, unless you give a good reason why whether related elsewise, they won't reveal personal information
*
Even you have a good reason, they won't reveal it to you. You need a police report to obtain it. Even with police report, the details of the owner is revealed to the police and not to you.

mine also got the same problem.. dunno what happen.. when i lepak at mamak stall suddenly the maxis's line SOS.. WTF!! but when i came back to my houz, i check back already full bar.. y maxis didnt announce the problem through newspaper or else? doh.gif
*
Usually its an unforseen system down rather a planned one. A planned server down will be at wee hours at night. And the practice is that they will annouce it before bringing the server down.

QUOTE(chteh0721 @ Jan 29 2007, 11:20 AM)
their share will drop down if announced to the public their system got problems biggrin.gif ..the pandan kapitol maxis centre already system down for 2weeks..wanna chg my sim card also cannot..cheras one more ridiculous..no stock for sim card replacement..what a good reason..
*
FYI, pandan kapital is a MASA rather than a Maxis Center.

Yes, you need to at least activate gprs for mms, and you also need to download mms settings for your phone, just call help line, they'll be glad to help you. icon_rolleyes.gif

It's called caller ringtone. The max is 25s.

QUOTE(Devilc0de @ Feb 21 2007, 10:48 PM)

Its an operator feature rather than a phone feature.

Ya totally agree with you. Even i switch from prepaid to postpaid since last year. 012 always my best partner i am thinking not going to change my hp number anymore.  rolleyes.gif  despite 016 and 019 are looked challenging right now for maxis.
*
By the end of this year, you can keep your number and change telco, so no worries

QUOTE(Street Force @ Mar 8 2007, 11:40 PM)
hey...anyone of u facing this problem..
my area in the morning and afternoon...there will be a 3G coverage...
but when the night falls...coverage dissapear...
already called the maxis fella and ask..they said help me to restart my 3G line..
but no changes also...zzzz
*
It's may be to due cell breathing in 3G. When data traffic increases in a cell, the coverage area will become smaller. May be you are residing at the cell edge, so when the traffic volume grows and the cell size shrink, you are out of coverage.

I know that operator is able to disable you sms, but don't know whether they'll do it or not.
