QUOTE(David83 @ Apr 8 2007, 11:03 PM) My 64k SIM card used to have Easy Access but after I got a replacement SIM card which is a 16k SIM card, that feature no longer in there. so, it that mean all new maxis simcard is 16K and dont have easy access anymore? other network got this service or not?If I'm not mistaken, most of the phones support SIM card menu (Easy Access) unless your phone is very ancient. Even a NK 3310 also supports it. |

QUOTE(David83 @ Apr 8 2007, 11:30 PM) The size that I meant was storage capacity, 16k, 32k, 64k or 128k; not the physical size. Sorry to confuse you. does 64K simcard still available in the market?i think all new one is 16K. my friends few years old maxis simcards all got this service regardless postpaid or prepaid aor hp model. In term of physical appearance, all of them look a like. |

QUOTE(David83 @ Apr 8 2007, 11:49 PM) Not easy to find. I think they're shortage of 64k. I wanted to upgrade my current replacement back to 64k but most of the Maxis Centre or MASA said no stock. I think it's very high possibility that all the new SIM packs are equipped with 16k SIM. 16k SIM card is cheap with 3G pre-activated. upgrade? do you mean i can have 64k feature with my maxis number retained? |

QUOTE(David83 @ May 6 2007, 12:37 PM) Usually in term of determinating which region (for call rate), usually the caller will suffer. we're charged according to the numbers we call? i thought the location of the receiver at the moment we call. Let say, your number is a Central region and your caller is from other regions, he/she has to pay more. The same thing when you call your friends. If his/her number is not same region as you, you'll be charged more. |
