farro, dude, go to Hotlink's website lah. doh.gif worse come to worse, call Hotlink. is it that difficult? shakehead.gif

i did the dirty work for you, no, your unactivated simpack's will not get barred. if you choose to activate them after 30th Dec 2006, you will have to register before activating your line.

next time, be productive. and be wiser. smile.gif

aiyo...if ur not that helping...then its ok..
but have you been working before?
even to call the customer service is not the best way to obtain the answer?
it was the customer service that gave such info that tormenting my mind...
and yet they ask me to refer to the website which i found none of the info was available..

btw...thanx for the help...happy 16 dude
*
which number did you call? call the Prepaid Registration Customer Service hotline. don't call the normal Maxis Customer Service hotline.

and FYI, if you follow what the CS reprisentitive told you, and if it is wrong information, you can bring this case to maxis and file an official complaint for providing you with wrong information. and then from there, if you really suffered losses and really want to seek compensation, you could bring the case to court iianm.

i just lost my HP on christmas eve  cry.gif  sad.gif , those stupid mat rempit grabed from me. mad.gif  vmad.gif
today, i called maxis customer service to cut off the line, and i ask them whether they can check last 5 number was dialed on the day when my phone stolen....that way can track the robber mah, correct me if im wrong.....but very disappointed they said cannot give me the full number was dialed on that day  mad.gif  vmad.gif
maxis shd help to track the number mahh....

replace new sim card also got charge RM10.00  shocking.gif rclxub.gif  doh.gif
other telco like digi give FOC for replacement new simcard  thumbup.gif
*
sorry to hear about your phone. same situation here. but mine did not happen on christmas eve.

i called maxis to bar my line. and they did. then i asked them to ping my phone, and they said they could not do it. the only way they could track it was if the person who stole my phone, used my phone to call out. that way, they can track which tower was used and narrow it down to a certain area.

but come on, who would want to steal your phone just to make a call right? if i were to steal a phone, i wouldn't make or receive any calls. all i want is just the phone, right?

in my case...the robber i think stupid la....coz he make outgoing calls using my number, i did check with maxis just now....first i ask my balance they said, now my balance left 15sen only....on that day my balance still left RM5 something after make some outgoing calls & sms to my friend for christmas greeting.
maxis customer said on 25/12/06 my number make out going calls to 017 number twice & 1 number international calls (thats last two number was dialed), maxis did not give me the full number, they give me the prefix only. they said get get the full number, but i hv go to maxis centre to do a report!  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
im very sure on christmas eve i never make calls to 017 number, i also dun hv fren using 017 number....all my fren using 016 & 012 only.
international calls, that one was dialed by me  sweat.gif
*
well.. since the robber was so dumb, what i suggest you to do is to go to the maxis center and report the case. ask them to narrow down the area to which where the phone was last used to dial to the 017 numbers. i'm sure the maxis towers can do that. triangulate the area. that'll give you a rough idea of where the phone is.

but that's not what you want right? BTW, why would you want the number that is made to with your phone? anyway, if you really want those numbers, go to maxis's center and report the case. i'm sure they'll give it to you.

ps. i still "hate" malaysia's telco's as they can't disable the phone via IMEI. vmad.gif

life is aint as easy as what u think kiddo...

i called the 1800 820 120...mind to tell me how to lodge an official complaints because i couldnt find any in the website...
*
what's with you and calling me kiddo? is it supposed to mean something? dry.gif

why would you want to lodge "official complaints"? what is it that you couldn't find in the website? mind stating it here?

and as i have clearly mentioned earlier, call the Prepaid Registration Customer Service. the number you gave isn't it. so don't be so angry that there were no options for the Hotlink Prepaid extension when you called the number you mentioned. smile.gif
