Teddy, same problem happened to me too! it has nothig to do with the service provider.
if you are on multiple entry phone name and contact number, ie; one name with a few contact number entry. try re edit the entry.
it solved my problem.

some of 3g phone unable to be activated with 3g and gprs..i had experience it myself with moto v3x and my friend using w850i.. try many times also cant

before i activated that caller ringtone when i'm using nokia 3200..
many times changed hp.. Ngage, SE xxx, now SE w700i..

dont know either this hp can make caller ringtone or not..
btw, how to reactivate it again??

for MAXIS user, it's *131# for caller ringtones activation and #131# to unsubscribe to caller ringtones.

FYI, changing your phone will not affect the caller ringtones but changing your sim card....ie; from prepaid to postpaid may affect.
caller ringtones are supported by most phones model in the market.
even the older phones will..too!

just change my talk plan to hotlink plan. i like it when i can call and sms my gf who is using the friends and family number. sms only 1 sen now. now only change to 1 sen. digi long time ago..
