using 2gb kingston elite pro CF with my 350D, then got an old 1gb kingston cf as 2nd card, i will shoot till 1st card full, then swap to 2nd card, then at the same time, pop my 2gb into my digimateIII to transfer out all the photos, then after 2nd card full, i'll repeat the steps of swapping, then transferring..

recommend sandisk II (ultra is it called?) for most users. Whether the price is reasonable or not i don't know, but not sure how the others perform

currently own just one 2gb sandisk extreme III, but might get one more for backup (either 1gb or 2gb). A 2gb takes me about 800 pictures unless its RAW and fine quality!

Bought myself dslr kit with free 2gb PENDRIVE brand cf card. but then the seller reccomended me to trade in the pendrive cf for SANDISK ULTRA II with RM100 topup.. donno its worthy or not since i dont really know the current market price of sandisk cf card..

But anyway, seller mentioned that the pendrive cf card...is highly NOT reccomended esp for Digital EOS system..compatibility issue i guess..

That 2GB EXTREME III must have cost a bomb cry.gif , unless you got it in Singapore smile.gif .

I use a KINGSTON 2GB ULTIMATE 133X CF(RM110) on a 8.1mp cam. Works smoothly on a 5fps cam. Shooting the Japan GT became a problem at the latter stages as I only had 1 2GB card(520+ pics only) doh.gif . For events, 1 card probably won't be enough and should have maybe 1 or 2 GB cards extra for backup. sweat.gif

I don't really understand what you're trying to say in the 2nd sentence of your first paragraph.

I've been using a Transcent 2GB 120x CF card for over a year already. Reliable so far and as fast as advertised. It holds about 250 Super-High-Quality JPEGs from my 10MP Olympus E-510.

Am also using these 2 brands.

The earlier Lexar i have had some incompatibility problem with my 350D. Had it changed for brand new cards FOC. The distributor was very professional about the whole thing..didnt have to show proof of purchase, blah.blah.

Tried Pendrive CF ..the built quality is so visibly inferior, and it didnt fit well in the slot. On ejection from the slot, it literally flew out of the slot shocking.gif Imagine, that CF getting into some water body or some drain!!!
