Hi sifus, I am looking for laptop with 1. Price below RM2.8k 2. Light weight (below 2kg or 1.7kg - travelling overseas) 3. Durable, nice build quality (Last for 5 years) 4. Long battery life (6-8hours usage) Any suggestions? Is Matebook D a good deal?

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Aug 21 2019, 02:31 AM) If you want last for 5 years, get Thinkpad T495 or X395 - promo now Sifu, any customization suggestion for me? While keeping it below 3k and with touchscreen. Thanks!

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Aug 21 2019, 12:26 PM) Do you really need touchscreen? If yes, need pen support? The main difference is T495 has upgradeable RAM (1 slot) while X395 is smaller and lighter Thinkbook is Ideapad rebrand Not necessary actually but preferable. No pen support required.

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Aug 21 2019, 02:17 PM) 3500U, W10 Home, 8GB onboard, 256GB NVMe (512GB if you want), FHD IPS touch (if want high sRGB, opt for 400 nits option), 65W adapter Other things that aren't mentioned are optional. No backlit keyboard though Add another 8GB by your own (in the empty slot). If you want max 32GB then opt for 16GB onboard and add 16GB by yourself Don't use 'SCHOOL' code, wait for another one Is there a huge difference between 3300U and 3500U? Would you suggest to take 3300U then?
