New Laptop Needed. Work & Play.
1. Budget: RM12000 - RM17000 2. Usage: (In order of priority) After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Path of Exile, OW, Valorant, CODMW, Anno 1880, and some double-A to triple-A titles. 3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight, etc): Thunderbolt 3 (if possible), 17"
Can't tell if AMD 4000 series with weaker GPU or Intel 10th Gen with stronger GPU better for my usage.

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Jun 24 2020, 10:28 PM) Generally on the go. Don't want to bring files from home to office, vice versa etc. Not sure if that is a valid reason haha.

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Jun 24 2020, 11:06 PM) Preferred max weight and min battery life? I'm good with any weight. Live with it for me haha. I will be plugged in most of the time.

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Jun 25 2020, 09:29 AM) Honestly for such high budget I also dk which one to recommend, lol. If you want to buy now, can consider Illegear Selenite G / Pro Hahaha alright. Thanks! Just wanted to get some outside opinion because been struggling with it. Company will subsidise a little so that's why the budget is higher. But if I took your advice on a desktop+laptop setup. Which laptop would you have recommended? This post has been edited by scionyte: Jun 25 2020, 03:02 PM

QUOTE(BeastX @ Jun 25 2020, 10:19 AM) Razer Blade Pro 17, 4k@120Hz... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « If I were to go with this option, how would I go about getting it? I know Razer's Asia Pacific store doesn't carry it.

QUOTE(BeastX @ Jun 25 2020, 04:12 PM) This maybe a more flexible option in terms of warranty/support/availability...The new Thinkpad P17... a draw back would be the weight: 3.5kg: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/coming-soon/Th...n/p/22WSP17P7N1It's not a looker though.... https://www.ultrabookreview.com/39497-2020-...inkpad-p17-p15/I'll keep an eye on this! Thank you so much!
