*Lenovo Thinkbook 14s 20RM003LMJ / 13s 20R900DWMJ with 3 yr warranty (use code LENXCIMB)
*Acer Swift 3 SF314-55-54A3/5699: non-upgradeable RAM
Acer Swift 3 SF314-54-55JD / 57FD / 59T5 +RAM
Acer Swift 3 SF314-41-R0CS/R2YE +RAM

*high sRGB IPS

If bump to RM3k can get business grade laptop

Thanks for the suggestion.

How is the built quality of acer swift 3 54A3?
Is the battery life ok? Can last for roughly 4 to 6hrs?

1. Budget : RM2.7k- RM3.5k
2. Usage  :  Multimedia, browsing, emergency spreadsheets.
3. Requirements (15" IPS, Battery life no less than 4hrs, preferably metal body or solid frame) :

Not an avid gamer but if I can play PUBG that's good enough. Good after-sales service. I'd have to stress on a solid body frame. Weight isn't a big factor to me.

PUBG needs decent GPU

Prefer gaming laptop or regular laptop?

Build quality is decent, nothing special. Battery life is good. Depends on your usage

Chassis rigidity used to be bad but the new models are ok. However Asus tend to have poor QC+QA. Crappy cooling solution in the new A409/A509/A412/A512. Small battery capacity.

Good value doesn't mean good lol. S431/S531 is the only decent Vivobook I'll consider, however prices aren't cheap and there are other alternatives

Actually PUBG requires both decent CPU and GPU icon_idea.gif

The only issues is that if he needs an ultraportable with a decent CPU, he'll have to pay 2-3x over for a 'slim' gaming laptop with a 9300H/9750H sweat.gif

Of course, the ultraportability also comes with issues such as thermal throttling sweat.gif

Normal ultraportables tend to have ULV CPUs which makes it not good for games, and the cooling might be sufficient for that load too icon_idea.gif

Let's just say I don't mind sacrificing PUBG. So regular laptop with a good build quality and excellent display. I multi-task a lot also.

By 'excellent display' you mean high sRGB? There aren't many 15 inch regular laptops with high sRGB display fyi

Budget :
Rm5k+

Usage :
- gaming (dota 2, far cry, dying light, cod and so on)
- design software such as autocad, solid work or Photoshop
- movies & anime
- web surfing

Requirements :
- High quality display for movie and anime
- don't want to have eye fatigue or eye strain for prolonged usage
- Good quality and high durability keyboard (or maybe just normal keyboard if budget is constrain for it)
- Lightweight if possible

I looked some of custom laptop
- Illegear laptop seems a good deal
- Can you recommend me any other custom notebook brand?
