I think some sacrifices are needed: increase budget, no touchscreen, no upgradeable RAM. Choose 1 or 2

In that case, If I increase budget what option do I have and what price range am I looking at? I can forego the touch screen feature but
would love to have upgradeable RAM.

Whats a good gaming laptop thats around 4k or so

Okay i know what i did wrong, instead of Primary hardisk change to 512mb i need to change Secondary hardisk to 512mb instead. So will get the default 60w battery instead of 80w battery. So i assume this is the way to do it?

Just checked, there's no decent 14-15 inch model with high sRGB display and upgradeable RAM in your budget unless you're fine with refurbished options: Dell Latitude 7400 DFO. No dGPU though

Hi. I need a laptop recommendation.
Budget: up to 2.5k
Good build quality and not too heavy as my sister will be using it. At least 256GB 8GB.
Mostly for student use; office, movies etc.

Edit: Integrated graphics is fine. Good display is a plus but not a must considering the budget.

I was also looking around Xiaomi and Huawei's, unfortunately the 4k series is not available yet.

Currently leaning towards Acer Swift 3, going to buy in 2-3 days time (still reading people's recommendation in forums and websites) unless found another model that's within my price range (<RM3000)

Yeah these 2 are decent budget options, however Flex 5 has more raw CPU performance due to higher power limits
