Forgot to ask, mind non-upgradeable 8GB RAM and low sRGB display?

Also, can accept max 1.7kg?
*

8GB shouldn't be problem haha.. as long MS Office and run smoothly, and multiples tabs of Chrome.. and some light Photoshop..

1.7kg not a big difference still can accept

Try to get Thinkpad E490/E495 with discounts (~1.75kg, can guide you on customization), if not go for these:
Acer Swift 3 SF314-55-54A3/5699: high sRGB IPS, non-upgradeable RAM
Acer Swift 3 SF314-54-55JD / 57FD / 59T5 +RAM
Acer Swift 3 SF314-41-R0CS/R2YE +RAM

Marketing is marketing, it's usually max battery life not actual/real world usage

You need to up max weight to 1.4kg if you want business grade convertible

Hi All, I'm helping out my friend to look out for the best deal of laptop. Doesn't need to be new but the laptop is for his employee to do office paper work.

Budget : Prefer <1k

Usage : Office spreadsheet, word, powerpoint, Gsuite doc forms slide sheet etc, surfing the web, youtube. Storage is not crucial as we will be storing data over the cloud or through the local office share drives

Requirement : SSD (a must), HDMI out (for projector presentation), 4gb ram or higher

Currently I am looking at E7240 since the Latitude product line supports docking, however preference wise I do consider Thinkpad . since the outer casing for think pads are much more resistant to wear and tear.

hope fellow lyn can advise.

Better topup abit and get 7250. 7340 is older unit by a year. Around 1.2 something at Lazarus. Just beware of the battery because if you're not lucky might get a bloated one.

Yo, looking for convertible / 2 in 1 - below 4k

Eyeing on Pavilion x360 but the highlight always small battery. How small is small compared to C340? (Dell 5491 and Pavilion x360 has the same battery size)

Any other recommendation (Need one with dGPU)

For what usage?

Preferred max weight and min battery life? Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradeable RAM?

HP Envy x360 13-AR0011AU
Asus Zenbook UM462D-AAI501T / UM462D-AAI047T: no info on whether it's dual channel RAM or not
Lenovo Ideapad C340-14IWL 81N400EFMJ / 81N40040MJ +RAM: low sRGB display, upgradeable RAM (1 slot+1 soldered), GPU will throttle slightly under load (common in convertible)

Best deal for 1660Ti/2060 for now would be Y7000 SE (customize): i7-9750H, 16GB dual channel RAM, 1TB HDD+1TB SSD, 144Hz, 2x2 WIFI. If you don't like the red accents, Y540 15 (customize): i7-9750H, 8GB single (16GB dual channel upgrade is a bit expensive), 1TB HDD+512GB SSD, 144Hz
