 Astro IPTV multicast down

Currently my multicast is down don't know why..
Technician came to check and reset Astro pvr to hybrid
Can watch normal channel and on demand internet
Just don't have multicast...

It seems like your Astro decoder is running on satellite now instead of using IPTV maybe try pressing the yellow button on the remote control to switch to IPTV

Router: ASUS AC1200
Found out the cause is my Asus router I setup as AP and connect it to the router maxis provided.. when remove the Asus LAN, it will go back to normal

Asus replied their router not support for Astro

I was able to get astro IPTV working on asus router with manual vlan configuaration, just that only live tv works, no VOD function

No on the ASUS router, you’ll need to enter the Vlan settings manually ( but you’ll lose VOD function on the decoder )

Login to webUi of the ASUS router( default is 192.168.1.1)

Assuming it’s in router mode ,

Go to Lan > IPTV

Then isp profile, use the drop down and select manual

Key in vlan

Maxis fiber backbone( area that have maxis fiber only usually)

Internet : 11
VoIP : 14
Lan4( IPTV ) : 17

Tm unifi backbone ( most area)
Internet : 621
VoIP : 822
Lan4( IPTV) : 823


Don’t forget after applying the vlan settings , go to wan and dail PPPOE with your maxis username and password
