BUT why so butthurt saying it will ruin the business? if so then just ask them to take certificate, if your ego so high and say i shouldn't need to cater to you (muslim) then don't take the certificate, nobody is forcing you. but don't go around saying this will ruin business (like the title of this thread) after that, it's what the market demands

Everything is Halal unless prohibited, but do fellow non muslim know what is halal and non halal when they are a non believer in the first place? that's why muslims generally don't ask for halal certificate from muslim runned business (as they have an obligation to their religion - an obligation non binding to non muslim) but they will ask for it for general corporate business.
