guys, i just bought a electric guitar, but i think the sound is bit out already, i wanna tune it, i buy the tuner ? or bring to shop ask them help me tune ? or maybe i can tune myself ?

Guys, when i connect my guitar and my amp, i played but then no sound from the amp .. but i don think is the amp problems becoz when i switch on the overdrive button, the amp got the "zeezeeeezeee" sound, maybe is my cable or guitar problem ?

Volume i set to max also didnt work, i think either the guitar or the cable got problem , tomorrow i have to take to guitar shop .. sigh..
