btrix... whats the price range u're looking at?

ooowh u got tremol-no already. but then, if a locked tremol-no doesnt give u any difference in your guitar, i don't think 5 springs would...? might be because of active pickups...

i in fact went from 3 springs in straight formation to 2 stiffer springs in arrow formation. (i followed satriani's configuration actually.) tuning stability improved a little, and double stops sound more in tune. i didn't want to add springs because that would make the trem stiffer.
