i want to ask ya, trace bundy's canon d. How in the world did he play without plucking the strings? The sound just came out when his left fingers press on the fret or is that known as hammering? I've tried but still can't achieve any sound. sad.gif Any one can give some tips on how to practise on this?

hi hi, it's me bugging you guys again. I have a question, i'm currently learning to play a few songs with different tunings. My problem is, the strings keep on snapping on me cutting my fingers. Are there any durable strings that don't snap easily?

one of them is the ordinary EADGBE. Then the other songs are CGDGBD and DADGAC.

question now is...where is it snapping?
those tunings regular strings all can handle no prob.

it's the first string snap somewhere near the middle.

are you tuning right?
if in E its ok, then D or C should be no prob cos its down tuning...
hope you're not trying to tune up...
*
when i lower the tuning it's ok, but when i want to tune it back to E then it snap. Snap snap snap!! sad.gif
