just buy straps. one end hook it up to the strap button (what u refer to as latch) and the other end u can tie the string behind the nut underneath the strings

oh ya, i'm getting slight fret buzz(but not that obvious) above 12 fret. happens just on the G string but not other strings. what might be wrong? neck?
