It's dungeons and dragons style, so it will always be played with dice. It makes it more interesting that way actually.

You can increase dice roll amount by stat like dex or charisma base on what task you do la. I mean you're not suppose to always successfully get it, but if you prefer that maybe can probably cheat? Or just save scumming lol. Big important decisions usually you need 18-20 for dice also, if you trying to persuade or convince someone.
